On Tuesday, the 8th, we went in swiiu- ling in the swimming pool. AVe have learned to do lots of iings, we learned to can vegetables, ickle meats, and how to use the (team pressure canner. We also rued how to stencU, make vege- stble and fruit salads. Had a lesson on ible service, one on beautifying the lOme grounds, we learned a lot of blub songs, had a lecture on good dressing. We took a trip to the poultry (farm and also one to the dairy farm. 7e had *u lecture by Mr. J. C. Mc- Luliff on Growing, Saving and Sell- png, also a lecture by Mrs. R. S. Sturgis on growing flowers. We made a visit to the Practice ame on the 10th. There we saw how to furnish our homes, and saw the Btden and lots of other things. We have chapel fom 12-1 o’clock j,ch day^and have an address’ by some ne. j We went to the First Baptist church iday morning for services then to Presbyterian church ror services lit night. The last day Miss Lyda had our pic- iires made. That night we had field which w? enjoyed very much.
