Much interest is already being manifest, and great throngs are going to hear the great preacher. Otis Pearce Otis, the fifteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Pearce died here Sun day afternoon after a few days ill ness with appendicitis and was buried yesterday in Mt. Hope cemetery. But still, the canary biid and a pair of. gloves and a blue apron and a silken jack et and a few of the dresses tvliich hadn’t played at being each other, all wanted a try at it. They had heard the stories of how miserable the others hud been, but they themselves bad gone to Sleep and nothing would make them happy but to try It all for .themselves. Aud one of the doll’s houses had wanted to. be something else, too— one of the doll's houses which hadn't changed before. So ns they nil made rtieir requests the Wishing Fairy granted them. The canary bird, now an opera singer, had just finished sing ing before his audience. They were calling for a speech and the canary bird couldn't make n speech. He had nothing to say.
