He is an Indefatigable worker, for in an dition to his newspaper and educa tional work- he has found time to write a number of books, including a comprehensive history of Missouri. In 1902 lie took a prominent part in the World’s Press Parliament at F;erne, Switzerland, and two years later he organized a similar gather ing at St. Louis.
