An enthusiastic meeting of sons of Confederate Veterans was held at the Court House on Saturday afternoon which resulted in the organization of » camp with an enrollment of between 60 and 70- It will be known as A. J. Hoole Camp, being named in honor of the gallant Lieutenant-Colonel of the 8th South Carolina Regiment who was killed while leading his troops at Chickamauga. The fol lowing officers were unanimously elected: Commander, H. M. Brun son; 1st Lieutenant Commander, J. W. McCown; 2ud Lieutenant Commander, T. H. Harllee, Jr.; Adjutant, R- C. Chase; Surgeon, Dr. F. P. Covington; Quarter Master, A. J. Hoole: Color-Ser- gent, J. Schott Rogers; Chaplain, Rev. H. R. Moseley; Historian, Rev. R. W. Barnwell; Treasurer, R. Lee Brunson. Rev. R. W. Barnwell and Messrs. J. W. McCown and S. M. McCall, were elected delegates to the re union of Veterans at Charleston on (he 27th instant, the command er being empowered to fill vacan cies.
