Flmt Ship of Charleston'll European Line Ketichra Port. Charleston, Dec. 6.—The Cases, the first steamer of the new Char leston and Liverpool line, arrived here this morning. The boat will load at once with cotton and pig iron and will sail directly to Liverpool. The line of steamers connecting this port with Europe is an enterprise recently started jointly by the South Caiolina and Georgia road, the Georgia road, the Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis, the Johnson Steamship company and the Manchester ship canal. The new company will be known as the Charleston Shipping company and has been chartered under the laws of West Virginia. It is proposed to run steamers from this city to Liverpool, Man chester and other European points semi-monthly. A cargo of cotton and iron is waiting at the water side for the Casos, and she will be enabled to load and clear at once. Mayor'* Court morning : Rachael Swinton, ar rested for robbing William B.
