Corporations conducted 1‘ulti mately, wisely and well have a place to fill, but when they begin to squeeze and steal, mash itnd grind, freeze out and keep down, they fail to fill their place and make themselves amemable to law. Winifred Black in the New York Journal is giving graphic accounts of Evangelist Dw ight L. Moody’s meetings at Cooper 1 n- iou. The evangelist is stirring the great city. His meetings are largely attended by people of all classes, and the interest is intense. Winifred Black says “a wave of revival is coming,” and she is here speaking from personal ol s. na tions. Let it come. New York needs a revival. We hope it will come and sweep through the en tire city. We hope it will sweep se thor oughly that the well-known theosophist, who said, “Nobody cares anything about the plan of salvation nowadays,” will stand gloomy isolation, or else be in cluded within the mighty sweep himself.
