DOTS FROM PINE RIDGE. The health of this community is good at present. The recent rains and harvest have delayed farm work and Gen. Green made a big advance, but is now on the retreat. The following boys from this section are at home from Newberry College. Messrs. carl Holmes and Robert Epting, S .C. Fulmer, Floyd Sheaiy and Miss Marie Epting. Mr. P. B. Lindler, in company wim Messrs. J. W. Tl'essinger, Geo. A. Bouknight and J. F. Lindler, motored to Columbia last Monday evening to atetnd the graduation exercise . of the class of 1921 nurses of the Baptist Hospital, of which Misses Ullian and Elvia Lindler of Chapin are members. The clas snumbered 14 girs and Miss Elvia Lindler won the only gold medal offered by the hospital, that of receiving the least number of demerits while in training. The Columbia Hospital later turned out a class of nine girls. Messrs. S. P. and L. F. Frick, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Martin of Columbia, worshipped at St. Peter's, (P. W.) church Sunday. Mr. D. L. Shealy of near Red Bank also worshipped at St. Peter's Sunday. Mr. A. B. Slice and family visited at Mr. John Shealy's Sunday. Rev. B. L. Stroup, pastor of St. Peter's church, preached in Ohio the 5th Sunday in last month. Pastor Strou ptendered his resigantion as pastor of St. Peter's congregation last Sunday to take effect after the first Sunday in July. SHARP'S HILL DOTS.
