An Opportunity or The Manning Times has decided to run a Free Column for the benefit of the farmers of Clarendon county. Every farmer is at liberty to use this column free of charge, whether a subscriber to The Times or not; at the same-, time we hope to have every farmer as a subscriber. This column will be headed, "FARMERS' EXCHANGE" FREE USE TO ALL FARMERS This space is intended to advertise any product a farmer has to sell, or anything a farmer wishes to buy for the farm, he can make his wants known through this column absolutely free. We do this in order that each and every farmer can place his products on the market with out any cost to him, and in doing so, it keeps nQt only the farmer, but the merchant in close touch with all of Clarendon's products, and when a person wishes any thing that is produced in Clarendon he will know where to look for it. We will take copy for this column up to Monday evening. If copy comes in later than that it will not appear until the next week. The price of The Times is $2.00 per year, payable in advance, but to co-operate with the people we are taking corn and allowing $1.00 per bushel, which is nearly double the market price. Our reason for doing this is to place The Times in every home in the county. The 'Farmers Exchange" column is worth the price of the paper alone. So it is now up to you to take advantage of this opportunity. THE MANNING TIMES li
