To Many Friends in the Tobacco Culture, Gentlemen I am too busy to write much at this time, but want to get a few facts before the growers of tobacco in the outset. I wish to announce that I will give.the tobacco farmer my same personal Auctioneering and salesmenship of his to bacco that I have done in the past. This year The BIG NEW PLANTERS WAREHOUSE, has ample room to take care of tobacco sales in the proper way, the warehouse is well arranged in every particular, spacious well lighted and convenient in every respect. My knowledge of tobacco is known to you all. For more than twenty years I have worked hard in season and out of season to build up the tobacco market at Manning, I have spent the best years of my life coupled with my time and talent to this end. I have given the tobacco growers of this County the best service I was capable of rendering. I have specialized in the tobacco busi ness here and elsewhere. I spent eight months in the 1920 and 1921 tobacco season operating tobacco warehouse, I have made it my business at all times to keep in touch with the workings of the tobacco industry and I have always imparted to the growers through the County and State Papers any informa tion that I possessed that I considered of benefit or worth to the public. My stand on all matters effecting the grower, such as adverse legislation or minor ity rule, is well known to the people of this State and County. I believe I am in a position to give you the best service to be had in the miar keting of this crop of tobacco. I have secured thelhelp of a good effiient cleri cal force. Mr. W. W. Rudder of South Boston, Va., will have charge of my :n books, assisted by the courteous gentlemen Mr. K. E. Henderson of Brookneal, Va., Mr. Fred Lesesne of Manning will write the checks2 all of these gentlemen are experienced bookmen. Mr. Allen Harvin, Jr., of Manning, will have charge of the placing of tobacco on the Warehouse Floor for sale. Mr. Harvin was with me last season, and gave the public good efficient service. I believe that good tobacco well-handled will sell well at the Planters Ware- m house this year. Just remember that Cothran knows tobacco and will be there m to stanld by you and for you and with you on every lot placed with him for sale. m Cothrian's method is to fight to the last limit for the best possible price to bc Shad. Yours for best service. PLANTERS WAREHOUSE, R. D. COTHIRAN, Proprietor. 200000E.EEMENEEo.EENEENIEEE omoEEEEEEEEE A full -line of I OI 01 STOVES6,I W IFan.d Rubbers.
