BOILED IN INK Two cooks -once were dis cussing ways and means of cooking. One of the kitchen experts claimed that if a ham were boiled in fine cider that the flavor of the meat would be much better than if boil ed in pure water. The other cook bet this fellow that a ham boiled in ink would be as tasty as the one boiled in cider. The experiments were made and the story goes that the ink-boiled ham was just M as good.
