IENRI SNOWS COMING HERE NEXT WEEK Famens Comedians Will Present High Class Productions in City. The Melville Comedians will arrive in Manning Monday and will pre sent high class shows each night next week. No higher class production has ever been offered in this city, and, in reviews of presentations of their plays, the Melville Comedians have been accorded the highest praise of theatrical critics. The large tent will seat several thou sand persons and even those in the rear of the tent will be able to hear all that is being said by the actors and actresses. Box seats have been erected in front of the stage. The mere fact that a show is being held under tent soemtimes misleads persons to form the opinion that the regular "circus calibre" is to appear. The production of the Melville Come dians is far different. Each night of the week they will present a popu lar play, the adaption of which are from books of well known authors. The custonies worn by the principles in the play are gorgeous and costly The scenery in the various acts has recently been repainted by artists. "Broker Hearts as Premiere." The first play will be given Monday night, when the company will present "Broken Hearts," a four act comed drama. CHILD IS KILLED BY AUTO ; Florence, September 27.-There as a deplorable accident here yes rday afternon about 6 o'clock in hich an eutomobile driven by T. C. Littino ran over and killed Elizabeth e four-year-old daughter of Mr. and rs. M. A. Fields. The acident ocurred on the new paved road to Timmonsville, just tside of the city limits and right in -ont of the home of Mr. A. McTag art, where the child had been spend ig the (lay. A car driven by W. J. evel came up to the McTqggart ome and stopped in front of the ouse. Elizabeth Fields with other bildren ran out to the car and Eliza eth ran behind the car right in front f Mr. Cuttino's car, which was com ig to the city from the opposite di ection. The child's head was crushed. Ir. Cuttino stopped his car immedi tely and with the child in his arms tarted for the hospital, but the child ied before reaching the city. The coroner's inquest was held this iorning and the verdict was that it vas ainl unavoidable accident. Mr. Cuttino is prostrate with grief ver the accident.
