It is regardedl as one of the most important pests to be reckoned with by chryqsanthemuiim growers. While principally a greenhouse peCst, it occurs on outdloor phanta even as far north as Ottawa, Caaa The injury to badly infested plants la such as to lestroy their value for commercial pur poses.
