Each packer having a large issortment of hides is able to grade md classify his output so that he can lispose of it advantageously to a hide >roker or a tanner's buyer direct. ?rom these men the hides go dlirect to .he tanner. Thus various interm eJ inte agencies and their profits are liminated. So simple a distribution system is,o f course, inipossible for the small roducer.
