Abrams had as their guest last week, Mrs. D. Silverman. Miss Mabel Todd of Washington is visiting Mrs. Joe Plowden in Mann ing. Mrs. E. C. Alabrook was the week end guest of her daughter, Mrs. A Forest Fowler in Columbia. Miss Virginia Coffey and Miss Ger trude Rigby visited in Colum);ia Sat urday. Miss Pauline Williams of Sumter is visiting at the home of Rev. C. B. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. S. I. Harvin accom panied by Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Sprott arived home Saturday night from De troit, making the trip in a Willis Knight automobile. They came over 1300 miles without any trouble, not even having a puncture.
