We shall meet to part, no, never, On the resurrection morn! When we see a precious blossom, That we tender with such care, Rudely taken from our bosom; How our aching hearts despair! - Round her grave we linger, 'Till the setting sun is low. Feeling all our hopes have perished With the flower we cherished so. Yes you shall sleep, but not forever, in the lone and silent grave; Blessed be the Lord that taketh, Blessed be the Lord that gave. In the fright eternal city, Death can never, never come! In his own good time He'll call us, From our rest, to home, sweet home. Her Grandaughter, Leila. Died of influenza at the home of her grand-daughter, Mrs. J. P. Tucker, near Bloomville, February 26th., Mrs. Ester H1: DuBose at a ripe old age of 76. She was only sick nine days, she was the youngest daughter of Col. W. M. James. She was from one of the finest families in South Carolina. She was a member of the Methodist Church ever since early girlhood, she always wore a welcome smile, she way faithful and true, and was patient in hcr afflictions. She left only one son and his wife, seven grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her death. She was highly esteemed by all who knew her. Her body was laid to rest in Rehobath cemetery awaits the re surrection morn when all shall be awaken. 'Twas sown in weakness here; 'Twill then be raised in power: That which was sown an earthly seed, Shall rise a heavenly flower!
