The Times will carry the names of the winners each week. Two night marks the initial enter tainment of a series booked by the Manning Board of Trade. The Ox ford Company is the name of the company and as it is one of the star numbers of the famous Redpath Chau tauqua Bureau. Those attending are sure of a treat in the amusement line. The performance starts at 8:30 o'clock in the Graded School Auditorium and the admission is 35c and 50e. Through the courtesy of Mr. Gaffney the p)ic ture show will be closed tonight so there is. hardly any excuse for not having a large crowdl. It is rumored that an effort will be matide shortly to open Mill street. This street we are told wvas at one time used a great many years ago, bht for some reason private parties closed it up, andl the town authorities have never had it opened. There is valu able property along this street and if our information is correct, steps should b~e taken at once by city council to regain the town property.
