Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 3.-With the discovery of a plainly visible blood stained finger print found on the au tomobile in which Robin J. Cooper, young Nashville attorney, was mur dered last Thursday night near Belle Mead Park, police late tonight stated they were nearer a solution of tbe mystery than they have been since the bodly was found in Richiand creek Saturday morning. The finger print was found on the rear right door of the machine and can be plainly seen with the eye at a dlistance of several feet. Nashville papers dated July 6, 7, and 10, of this year, and found in the blood( covered1 automobile, are also being examinedl for finger prints. The papers are also being held for an adl ditional clue which authorities say prove to be of advantage. In Newvberry county six school district nicetings were held to interest farmer's in grow ing more clover and starting alfalfa These were attended by 88 farmers, 31 of wvhom ordlere() alfaifa and clover seed andl grouhd lime. County Agent Mills says: "I find that farmers are becoming dlisgustedl with fodder pull ing as a means of getting roughage~ andl only wvait to be showvn a substi tute. One or twvo acres of alfalfa to the mule on each farm wvill deal a death llow to fodder pulling."' In Greenville County the (lover campaign resulted 'i ordering 11 ,000) pounds of crimson clover seed for fifty-odld farmers who have not, be fore planted clover, thus doubling the number of farmers planting clover and more than (doubling the acreage in the county. In Chester County farmers have bought two cars of rye seed for cover crops to turn uinder in the dough stage as green manuring, many farmers who usedl rye last year having declar edl that rye had increasedl their cotton yields 25'per eent up. In Fairfield County 260 tons of lime and 3000 pounds1 of alfalfa seed have been ordlered already and orders are still being madle. L. Baker, Supervising Agent of Boys' Club Work, who hopes to make this depart ment larger and better this year than ever b'fore. There are two classes of prizes, A ant B. In class A, plr.zes are offered for the best 10 ears of corn, any varie ty, on the merits of the corn, in this class there are 6 prizes namely $6, $5, $4, $3, $2, and $1.t0. In class B3 there will be 6 prizes for the best single ear of corn, any variety. These prizes are $3.50, $2.75, $2.25, $1.25. and $1.00.
