Bishopville, Nov. 25.-The 135th session of the South Carolina confer ence closed tonight after a very busy and valuable (lay of preaching and special song services in the city churches by visiting ministers. The services at the Methodist church, the home of the conference at this session, were especially enjoy able to everybody and most gratify ing to all the people of every faith in the city, in that it was the dedi cation services for their magnificent new building. The sermon was de livered by Bishop .James Atkin;, after which the brief but impressive ser vices, setting aside the building for the services of God, were held. At the services tonight, after the reading and adopting of resolutions of thanks to the people of Bishopville for the magnificent entertainment and thanking the bishop for many cour tesies extended the ministers, the ren dering of a special and magnificent song program by a specially trained choir, and a short fatherly talk by the bishop, the appointments for an other conference year were read by Bishop Atkins.
