ive ast 23eautiul Cri tera A Word of Warning As long as the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company's pres ent supply of materials lasts, Paige buyers will enjoy the advantage of the present Paige price. It is estimated that this supply of materials will last ap , proximately 60 or 90 days and when the supply is exhausted it will, obviously, again be necessary to readjust the prices of all models of the Paige line. as Then, as now, the Paige prices will be fixed in proportion to the cost of materials. They are never raised arbi trarily. That is a point on price we wish to empha size. But when the last word on price is said you will continue to select the Paige because of its mechanical excel- m lence, its beauty, its supreme quality. GERMANY PUBLISHES U-BOAT LOSS New Official Figures Bear Out British Statements of Havoc Being Wrought by Submarines. London, July 22.-Here are, for the first time, outside of the German bor ders, the official German admiralty claims as to the havoc wrought by unrestricted U-boat warfare since it went into effect: February, 781,500 tons. March, 885,000 tons. April, 1,091,000 tons. May, 869,000 tons. June, "more than 1,000,000 tons." Disprove. The figures clearly disprove the wild reports spread broadcast a few (lays ago, owing to a mistake in trans mission of a cable dispatch by the representative of a New York news paper, that the submarines were sink ing 1,600,000 a month. The German accounts, as contained in Berlin newspapers received here, assert that June will prove a record breaker.
