An Ordinance To Regulate the Handling of Fresh Meats in the Town of Marning. Be it Ordained by the Mayor and Aid erm.t of the Town of Manning, in Council Assembled, and by authority of the same: Sec. 1. Tnat it shall be unlawful for any person or persons or corporations, now enged in, or who or which may hereafter b come engaged in, the reg - ular business of running a market for the sale of fresh meats in the said Tow:- and the delivery of same by wag on, to haul said fresh meats within the Town of Manning, either from the place of slaughter to the said market, or from the said market to delivery places of customers, without having said wagon or wagons securely screan ed against flies. PROVIDED, that this ordinance shall not apply in the deal ing of packages or parcels of such meat to the residences or place of business o. customers wher. the said packages or parcels of fresh meat. are securely wrapped against infection from flies. Sec. 2. That no wagjn which is used for the transportation of fresh meats in the town by said markors. shall be used for the hauling of refuse or garbage or decayed meats. Sec. 3. That it shall be the duty of the Policeman of said Town to inspect all such delivery wagons. and every person or corporation running a fresh -meat market., for the hauling of meats as herein described,- shall, once during each week, furnish to the Clerk of Council a certificate from a policeman or health inspector to the effect that his wagon or wagons have been inspect ed aod that he or it has complied with the requirements of tbis ordinance. Sec. 4. Any person convicted of vio lating the provisions of this ordinane shall be fined in a sum not less than $5.00 nor more than $2-> 00 Dollars, or imprisoned not less than 10 days nor more than 30 days.
