PURELY PERSONAL. The Movements of Many People, Newberrians and Those Who Visit Newberry, t ' '* ? Miss Frances Jeter has returned to her home.in Whitmire. She spent three weeks at Blue Ridge, N. C., attending the Student "Y" Conference as a guest of Mrs. W. B. Gordon. From thence she went to the University of Virginia summer school at Charlottesville, Va., where she took a professional primary course. Margaret, the little 7-year-old daughter of Rev. and Mrs. L. P. Boland had her adenoids and tonsils removed on Monday by Dr B. E. Kneece head of the county health unit. Why should parents go to Greenville or any other place for these operations when we have efficient service at home? We have heard Dr. Kneece spoken of very highly by competent authority as an expert in the removal of adenoids and tonsils. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cromer and Misses Marie and Estelle Moore left Wednesday for Tybee Beach. Miss Janie Glenn of Laurens is visiting Miss Kate Bullock at the Newberry hotel. Miss Mary McClure, who is spend ing a while with her father in Knoxvilie, Tenn., is having a delightful time according to letters written her grandmother, Mrs. 0. L: Schumpert, and is anticipating enjoyable visits to Niagara Falls, Atlantic City and other pleasurable places before returning to Newberry. Copeland went to Columbia Wednesday night to return with Mrs. Copeland on Thursday from the hospital. This will be pleasant news to the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Copeland in Newberry and Clinton and surrounding country; - Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Turner, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. T.
