It was a great day for Luther, the Newberry twirler. He allowed z only three scattered hits. Belk and j J Eichelberger, who had featured in al- j j most every game this season by their heavy hitting, were, unable to solve Luther's delivery. The Newberry Indians drove Bechman from the i mound in the seventh inning. F. * Shealy played a sensational game at second for Newberry, making good - several chances which were apparentv ly impossible, and starred with the bat. The Newberry Indians' kept in r the lead through the entire game. t Belk, the star shortstop for the j Blue Stockings, played good ball.
