SURAL SCHOOL ' IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION Prize Announcements, 1919-1920. I ? I. Twentv-five prizes of forty dollars each will be awarded to individ ua} schools making the greatest improvement during the time between March 1st, 1010, and March 1st, 1920. ; Each school competing for this prize must lile its application along with, the official Prize Score card. The School Improvement Score card must i>e signed by a representative of the iocal association, by a member of the j local board of trustees, and approved : by the County Superintendent of eHunation. Photographs of new build- j tngs are usually helpful to the com-! mittee in determining prize winning j schools. Incorporated towns with a ! population of 400, according to the census of 1910, are not eligible to compete. II. One prize of ten dollars to the j local association in each county raising: from outside sources and de- j positing with the County Treasurer ibe largest amount of money. The j forty-five prizes in this class are in- j tended to stimulate local school im- j provement work in each of the forty- j five counties. III. One prize of five dollars to each local association sending in! twelve reports to the county organ- j :zer for twelve regular monthly; meetings between March 1st, 1919,1 and March 1st, 1920. These reports' must be signed by the president of j the school improvement association J and approved by the county organ- i izer. IV.
