Hi AY WEAR THEIR UNIFORMS AFTER THEIR DISCHARGE Congressman Fred H. Dominie!-* Quotes Law 011 the Subject Passed by Congress and Approved February 2Stk. Newberry, S. C., March 15, 1919. To The Editor: There seems to be a great deal of confusion, and I have had a great many inquiries, as to whether or not soldiers and sailors should retain their uniforms. In order to try and get the proper information to all those who are interested, I will say that, by an act of congress, approved the 28tii of February. 1919, it is proviuod: 1 licit miv [iciauii n ocx r cu iu the United States army, navy or marine corps in the present war may, upon honorable dischargs and return to civil life, permanently retain one complete suH of outer uniform clothing, including the overcoat, and such articles of personal apparel and equipment as may be authorized, respectively. by the secretary of war or the spprptarv of the navv. and may wear such uniform clothing after each discharge". v j This being the law, the men have the right to retain their uniforms, any former orders of the military authori-! ties to the contrary notwithstanding, j Very respectfully. . Dominicki Congressman. \ St *' #- - - I i SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION OF NUMBER TEN TOWNSHIP The Sunday school convention of No. 10 township will be held on the oth Sunday of this month, March the 30th, at St. Paul's Lutheran church.
