Should the people of Abbeville buy ice from some other factory, the local 'ce plant would have to go out of busi- ! n ess. /This is true of the Abeville laundry, j It is dependent for its life upon local j support. Whenever we increase the weekly j' pay roll we put money in circulation ; and increase tne business of the nver- j chants and all other traders of the j community. ! Anotner thing that is help.'ul to the j growth of a community is to have the ! i citizens home owners. There is! i nothing that so stimulates patriotism as for the citizens to own their own I homes.
