Each doc- j tor will troni time to time submit the j names of his wilfully delinquent pa? j 1 tients, togeather with the amount due him, and these names will be listed in n rnminnn book for the reference of all the doctors. Calls from these patients, unless emergency, will not be answered, and even then the payment must be in cash, and the patient or the patient's famil given to understand that no t'uther calls will [ ^ be answered until the amount due the ' doctor is paid. There will be no fc slighting of chaTity patients as the resolutions adopted provide that all the indigent sick shall be treated. J^~ A Baptist Minister Tells a Good Story. The Herald and News reporter knows the Rev. J. D. Pitts, having become acquainted while living in j Laurens, hence takes pleasure in j reproducing the following from the Baptist Courier: "Dr. J. D. Pitts is responsible for this story, although he does't vouch for the accurancy or the truth of it. K A certain man, rambling in the woods f was erased by a bear, and crept in? to a hollow log to escape. The bear sat down at the end of the log to await the man's reappearence?and sat, and sat.
