Continuing Mr. Whaley said: "The people of South Carolina and the city of Charleston know this to be a fact, if for no other reason than that the allegations are fathered by Mayor firane. whose remitaiion as a character thief, and whose vile opposition to me, politically and personally, is well known to the people of the State and district.
