Columbia, December 11.?The total taxable property in South Carolina this year i* $291,531,003, as compared with $287,132,019 for 1911. an in crease of over $4,000,000 according to figures obtained to-day from the office of Comptroller General Jones and compiled from abstracts of the auditors of the different counties in the State.
