William and Robert Wright were strong upholders of civil law and so cial purity, as are each one of their children. There is something singu lar about the nine brothers in the Civil war. Three of them were mar ried when the bloody struggle began, three were killed in battle, three were wounded twice, three came through unhurt, three have died within the past ten months and three are'still living. The three that have died were the three who came through the fire and smoke of battle unhurt, and all three died of heart trouble. Mr. Press Moore Struck by Bolt and Dies Instantly. Greenville, Aug. 15.-Press Moore, an employee of the Orr Cotton Mill, at Anderson, and a prominent secret so ciety man, was killed by lightning late this evening. Soon~ after the storm came up Mr. Moore went on his porch and was leaning against the door, when he was struck just behind the left ear by a bolt, killing him instantly, setting fire to his shirt and burning his body horribly. His wife and four children were at tracted to the porch by the flash and the heavy fall of the body as it struck the floor. When they reached his side the body was almost enveloped in flames.
