LETTER OF DISMISSAL. New Dispensary Commission Makes Several Requests on Firm of At lanta Lawyers. T. B. Felder, of Atlanta, mailed to the Columbia State Monday a copy of the letter from the new dispensary Winding-up commission dismissi:g ,-he firm of Anderson, Felder, Round tree & Wilson, as -attorneys for the commission. There are several re quests made in the letter. It is ask ed that Mr. Felder appear before the commission and tell what he knows of the affairs of the old State dispensary. Letter of Dismissal. The following is the letter of the inding-up commission to the Atlanta rm of lawyers canceling the contract de by the old commission: *'Referring to the agreement be-1 tween you and the State dispensary commission of date the 9th day of May, 1907, wherein, by paragraph 3 thereof, it is provided: 'This contract may be terminated by the parties of' the second part, on 30 days' notice in Writing to the parties of the first part, bUt shall no event be terminated until the expiration of 90 days from the date of this contract, and slaU n;t, of course, affect the right of the par ties of the first part for their com pensation for such salvage as has been recovered and such deductions from account as have been procured by the efforts of said parties of the first part,' I' am directed by resolution of this commission to notify you that it .has determined to termninate said agreement, and I hereby a behalf of the commission, declare the same terminated in accordance with the terms of said paragraph, on and after 30 days from the 29th day of the present month. The Evidence. "Referring further to said agree ment, wherein, by the fifth paragraph 1 thereof, it is provided: 'The parties of the first part shall turn over a statement of the evidences of violation of the criminal laws or the State by any parties connected with transac tions involving the management of the Sate dispensary in any way, whether officials, employes or private persons,1. to thie attorney general of the State of South Carolina, and the names of the witnesses and the dates of the viola- 1 t ions, as nearly as may be, and pro eure the appearance of the witnesses if practicable, at some point Cvhin the State of South Carolina, at which they can be bound over to appear arnd1 testify in case .the attorney general deems it necessary to hau" theIr tes timony in any proceedin?gs or prose cutions that. may be i tstituted, I am directed by the present commission to request that ycu do turn over to the attorney general >i this State, as records and papers for the us-e of this1 egmmission, an-1.held and obtain~ed by I-you under the provisions and termls/ of said agreement: "a.
