There is a thriving camp of Wood en of the World here, and efforts are on foot looking towards the organ zation of another secret order lodge. Mr. J. B. Lathan was the first man n business at Little Mountain, hav ing established a general merchandise usiness there in October, 1888. He s still in the sanie business, and his 'business has grown with t:he town. He as followed by Mr. J. H. Wise, who as in business with Mr. Lathan for number of years, but who went into the general merchandise business for himself about two years ago. Anoth er successful mercantile firm is that of Counts & Shealy, composed of Messrs. W. B. Shealy and W. A. Counts. The Littl-e Mountin Drug company, the firm being composed of Dr. J. M. J. B. Lathan.
