A special invitation is extendg ed 'o the yet unorganized class of Whether delegates or not, we urge it as a duty to all Farmers' Union H men to attend this Greenwood meeting. New delegates have equal rights with delegates to the floor, but none save regular delegates can vote at this meeting. Begin now to prepare yourselves to put the right men in the right places at the coming meeting. For your success or failure depends upon this. Vote for no man for the poor reason that he is your friend or comes from your section. Don't try to stop a twoinch hole with a half-inchc peg, nor try to trot out a ten-cent man to do Ia dollar job. Vote for the right man for the place every time. Announcement. The editor of this Bureau is going to make an effort to attend as many of the South Carolina Farmers Institutes this summer as possible, and will be delighted to meet and talk with the progressive element of the farming fraternity at these meetings. Not with a view of leaching progressive farmers how to farm, but we are out to learn what our up-to-date far, mers are doing and how they do it, ^. so that I may tell others about it as Hjfo\we pass around among them. Kfc the buyer has to know how much IRollon the farmer has in his ware II buyers reason that they must Have cotton cheaper because farmers nave made better crops, then, farmers must demand more money for his cotton because the buyers have made otter p rot its out of the cotton than the farmer who made the cotton! Farmers are to blame for this state of affairs, it is not the men that take the profits. Cotton warehouses may control the supply of cotton to suit the demand, just the same as the money \aults hand out the proper amount of money to satisfy the demand by cotIon. Cotton will keep about as long in a good warehouse as money will keep in a bank. Money may be said to have little or no intrinsic value and its current trade value is limited; while cotton's intrinsic value is recognized the world over and will continue to be a current article of tvide in all countries so long* as babies are born naked.
