SOUTH OAROLIXA WINS. The Greatest Yield of Cobn in the World Per Acre Last Year Was Gathered From a Farm in I Olarendon County. The State, 25th. South Caroliina againl winls the championship inl the matter of raising the gentlest yield of curn per aere. The prize yield was 182 bushels to the acre and Mtr. A. J. Tin(al of Clarendoi is the successful comptti tor. A few years ago in a .;imilar con test, South Carolina won the first prize, Mr. Drake of Marlboro having produced 237 bushels to the acre.
