To Prevent Injury and Damage t Streets in the Town of New berry. Be it ordained by the Mayor an Aldermen of the Town of Newberr in Council assembled and by authoi ity of the same: 1. From and after the .passage < this ordinance it shall be unlawfi for any person wilfully to destroy, ii jure, or in any manner hurt, damag impair or obstruct any public Streel or Sidewalk in the Town of Newbe: ry, or any part thereof, *or any bridg culvert, drain or ditch belongir thereto, or any part thereof. 2. Any person violating this ordii ance shall be liable to a fine of n< more than one hundred dollars, < imprisonment for not more tht thirty days, for each offense.
