DEAR FRIEND:
I have reached the close of ao splendid
year's business and feel that a word of,appre
ciation is due those who contributed to this re
sult.
It is gratifying to me to find that the effort
I have made to give good service to the public
meets with such a satisfactory response, and
it increases my determination to do still better
by my customers the coming year if I possilyy
can.
As business grows my opportunity to serve
you better increases. I can provide a constantly
increasing stock and still lower prices.
Your continued patronage and words of
approval to your friends help me and help
you. The loyalty and good will shown the past
year assures me that I can depend upon your
confidence and trade during 1907. In return
I shall do all in my power to protect your in
terest and to meet every obligation that de- '
volves upon me.
Again thanking you for the past favoia
shown me and with best wishes for a happy
and prosperous new year.
I remain, sincerely yours,
John B. Mayes
