Mrs. Fleming in a dainty gown of pink point d'esprit and lace, was assisted in receiving her guests by Miss Schumpert, who was very lovely in white India silk and lace. Assisting in the scoring were Mrs. i Argo, Mrs. Charles Bell, Mrs. Jas. Brnson and Miss Jenna Garrett. Some Cotton Facts. Cotton reached its. lowest price t this year on January 27th, when t the New York price was 7 cents. It -vas below 8 cents until 2Aarch 20th, when it reached 8.20. Then it r fluctuated between 7 and 8 cents until June 16, when it reached e 9.15. The first io cent notch of the year was reached on June 3oth, 7 when the price was 10.15.
