REV. CHURCHILL SATERLEE FOUND DEAD IN BED. Prominent Churchman-Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church of Co lumbia, S. C. Rev. Churchill Sa.erlee, rector of Trinity Episcopal church, Columbia, S. C. was found dead in bed Tuesday morning at 6 a. m.. at the residence of Dr. W. E. Michel, Summerville. Au gusta. The direct cause of death was heart failure, iollowing a protracted attack of grip. A little less than a week ago Dr. Saterlee and family came to Au gusta, hoping that the change in cli mate would speed his recovery from the disease. They secured apartments at the home of Dr. Michel. The acute attack of grip had seriously involved the heart and it was from the secon dary trouble that Mr. Saterlee did not seem to rally. As rector of Trinity church, Dr. Saterlee was one of the most prom inent and influential members of the denomination in South Carolina. Trinity church parish is one of the oldest and largest in the state. It will be well remembered as the church with which General Wade Hampton was connected during his life and is now the church of many South Caro lina's most prominent citizens and public officials. ,, Dr. Saterlee although comparative ly a young man, was an eloquent preacher, succe'ssful rector, and sterling Christian gentleman. He was the son of Bishop Saterlee, of Wash ington, D. C. He is survived by sev eral children and a devoted wife. The remains of Dr. Saterlee were forwarded to Columbia where the fun eral and interment occurred. Glenn Springs.
