his reputation as one of the most

resting Ben Abuey alias Geo. Jones.
a colored, wanted by the authorities
of Newberry county for disposing
of mortgage property. The negro
after disposing of the property left I
for parts unknown. le was final
ly located by our local sleuths,
Mlessrs. Trussell and Ilaynes, in
Greenville county. They notified
Sheriff Buford of his whereabouts,
and his arrest was soon effected.
