C., under Postal Ac of March 3, 1879. March 31. 1915 There has been good road talk in this section for man; years. Much improvement ha; been made in the roads. Fairl; good roads may he found ii many sections when weathe conditions are favorable. However, the work .has gon< just far enough for the promo ters to realize as never befon that permanent roads can not lx had under present conditions The free labor and the coinmu tation tax are just about enougl to keep the roads at a stand still Not enough to do any permu nent work and keep the road repaired. If a good system o roads could he huill the cost o upkeep would he materially re duced, and there would he sur plus enough to almost*pay inter est on bonds enough to secur< the needed funds. Money mav he had in larg< quantities for this purpose an< the roads may he built this yeat This is the very best year of al for doing this kind of work All the people need the road and the laborers need the mone; which may be so easily brough within their reach.
