Next Sunday is the day of prayer for peace in Europe. President Wilson issued a proclamation several days ago calling upon the people all over the land to assemble at their places of worship on next Sunday and send up to God one mighty cry for peace in war-torn Europe. If the people will come in dead earnest, with unselfish purpose and beg God to bring about a reconciliation, the sword will al once he sheathed, the cannon will cease to roar, the worn out soldiers will return to loved ones at home and the mighty struggle will be at an end.
