The grand total of cash admissions to dale foot up: At 50 cents, G,738,402; at 15 cents, 738.004; total, 7,G7G,40G. The total cash receipts at the gate wore $3,553,702 50. The poultry show closed this even ing, and the work of removing the specimens will begin to-morrow, when the list of special prices will be an nounced. Company M, of the Third United States Artillery, which has been on duty at the Exhibition since the opening, will remain at the grounds until the 17th inst., when I one half of the force will be returned to their posts. The others will re main until all the Government ex hibits are remov? d. The detachment of the Engineering Corps, Ordnnnce, .Signal Service and Medical depart ments, comprising sixty-five men, all under the command of Captain "War ner, will ah o remain on duty at the grounds until the exhibits in their (?barge shall have been returned to Washington. As the lease of the international stock yard has not yet expired, and as the yard is of no further value for exhibitors, who have hail their packing boxes burned, the latter will therefore be able to manu facture new cases under cover w ithout being compelled to build sheds for the purpose.
