For the removal si ml permanent cure of all Ills- ! eases arisinjj from an impure Plate of the Blood, or habit of" the system, viz: Scrofula, or Kino 's Jh il, lllo umatism, Obstinate Cutaneous Eruptions, Pimples, or Pustules on the Fare, Blotches, Biles, Chronic Sore If "s, Ring Worm or Tetter, Sea ',I Ile al, Enlargementand Pain of the Bancs and Joints, Stubborn Ulcers, Syphilitic Symptoms, Sciatica or Lumbago, and Diseases arising from an injudicious use of Mercury; Ascites, or Dropsy, Exposure or Imprudence in Life. Also, Chronic Constitutional Disorders will be removed.by this Preparation. The value of this preparation is now widely known, and every day the tield of its usefulness is extending. It is approved and highly recommended by Physician , and is admitted to be the most powerful and searching preparation irom uic root that has ever been employed in medical practice. The unfortunate victim of hereditary disease, with swollen glands, contracted sinews and bones half; carious, has been restored to health and vigor. The scrofulous patient, covered with ulcers, loathsome to himself and to his altcndanss. has been made whole. Hundreds of persons, who had j groaned hopelessly for years under cutaneous and j glandular disorders, chronic rheumatism, and many j other complaints springing from a derangement of: the secretive organs and the circulation, h ivc been | raised as it were from the rack of disease, and now, J with regenerated constitutions, gladly testify tothe ' efficacy of this inestimable preparation. The tes- ; timony of those who have been cured by its use, ' with their residences, has been published from ! time to time, and were it desiiablo a mass of the ! most overwhelming testimony could be brought I forw rd, proving most conclusively its inestimable value. The following certificate from Col. Samuel (J. Taylor, a gentieman of high standing and extensive acquaintance through the Southern States and lately appointed Consul to New Granada, commends itse'f tothe attention of all. New York, January 7, 1S-18. Messrs. A. B. and I). Sands: Gentlemen?llav- ; used, and witnessed the eHerts of your excellent i preparation of Sarsap-iriila on diilerent persons in I various parts of the Southern country, viz?Vir- j ginia, Louisiana, Texas and .Mexico, I feel much pleasure instating the high opinion entertained of ' its great medicinal value. In my own case it acted , almost like a charm, removing speedily the cnor vated urate of the svstem. and excitiiitr in the I most agreeable manner, a tonic and invigorating influence. Your Sarsaparilla is highly approved and extern eively used by the United States army in .Mexico, . and my cousin Gen. Zichary Taylor, lias for the I past five years been in the habit ot tiding it, and . recommends the same; lie and myself adopted the | article at the same time, and it is now considered j an almost indispensable requisite in the Army, j In conclusion 1 would say, that the butter it is i known the more highly it will he prized, and I j rust that its health resto jug virtues will make it | generally known, throughout the lenj'.h and , breadth of our widely extended country. Vou."3 very respectfully, s. g. Taylor, U. S. Consul to Mow Granada. REMARKABLE cure of bronchitis. New \ or!;, Fob. 17, lttH. Messrs. Sands.?Having suffered many years with a disease of my throat, allec.ting the larynx, i : during which "itnc I was treated l?y the most tl s- ' ] tinguished physicians in Europe a.id the United j States, without re eiving any permanent benefit, j ' but all the time mv general heal'li and strength , 1 declining, and the disease making feaiful progress; ! caustic applications were use ', and whatever else :, was thought most eliicient lor producing a cure; ] i but I am confident the deplorable situation 1 was ' in, the laryngitis being accompanied with phthisis j and great difficulty in breathing, would soon have . terminated my life, had I not obtained relief thro' | the medium of your invaluable Sarsaparilla. I ' must say, gentlemen, when I commenced using ] a the Sarsaparilla I did tint place much confidence , in its virtues ; and this will not surprise you, when j you are informed I had tried more th in fifty differ- ! ent remedies during ihe past tour years, without . ??? but ufter trikimr vour Sarsanarilla a I ' muj o?vwvM ) ? ^ - , - . few weeks, 1 was obliged at last to yield to cvi- I J dence. Yours verv truly, i). 1'ARK.N'T. Consulate of France in the United Stales. The above statement and signature were acknowledged in our presence by Mr. I), l'arcnt kb true. [ i For the Consul General of Franco, L. DOUG, Vice Consul. ' Sands' Sarsapakilla.?It Ins ever been a prime article of our medical creed, to recommend j no advertised medicines, for we are opposed to them conscientiously and p ofcssionally, but we , feel bound to deviate from this rule, and recom- i mend to the suffering the article at the head of j this notice. The great medical virtues of Harsa- ' parilla, are we 1 known and appreciated by physi- i ] cians, but the uncertainty of the strength of the ;. different preparations of the root, some being al- i most inert, has caused the medicine itself to fall into disrepute. The Messrs. Sands, it would 1 seem, have succeeded in obtainmg a powerful and , uniform preparation of it We have seen an I abundance of testimonials to its efficacy from the 1 highest authority, and we recommend it with plea- , gure?Southern Whig. The following interesting case is presented, and the reader inv ited to its careful perusal. Comment on such evidence is unnecessary. New York, April 20. IS 17. Messrs. Rowarid <fc Walton, b76 Market street, Phila , consider his ca*e the most remarkable one we have ever witnessed or heard of. J lis disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have been his twelve years'conflict with the destroyer! Jlis Palate, the entire roof of his mouth, Nose, I'pper Lip, and lower lid of the right Eye have been destroyed, his Face nearly eaten up. and part of the Jaw Pone carried away And yet we can give no description of his case, Mr. P. informs us that in January last, the whole interior of his month, as well as most of his face, was a mass of deep and [aiiiful ulcers. On the 14th of January la^t, he commenced taking Dr. Cullen's Indian Vegetable Panacea, which checked the disease in a few days, and from that time the cure has progressed without intermission. New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ulcers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound and his general health is restored. We are assured that in the treatmeut of Mr. Brooks' case no Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic applications have l?:en used.?in lact, the Panacea alune I.a- wrought 1un> wiiiiuvriui cimngr. Philip S.
