TROUBLE IN NEBaASKA.-LEGISLA.TURE I OVERAWED BY A MOB. ThcPhihulelphia American lias the following nummary of interesting news from Nebraska : . "The Territorial Legislature of Nebraska is iu session, and appears to l>e a strange scene of disorder. It appears that a majority of the Legislature is bent on removing Ihe capital from Omaha to some other point, t)n account of the interference of mobs of people from Iowa iu the territorial business. The or ganization of the territory has proved such ? good thing for them, that they cannot bear the prospect of the capital being removed to some other point. To such an 'extent is the attempt to overawe the Legis- j ialurc carried, that the House of Jleprcs n ; Natives petitioned the Governor for a sufli- ' cient military force to protect their persons ' from violence. It is thought that tlie removal will pass both houses by the requisite tniaioritv of two thirds over the irnvernor's i veto. To make tliis two-thirds majority in . *tho Ilouce, the vote of tlio Speaker was necessary; but "under, the rules <?f the; House, he could only vote in case of a tin. 'To rescind this rule was, therefore, the polity-of the majority, and it. would have been effected but for the determined opposition of the representatives of Omaha, which j prevented action. At length, one of those representatives abused the Speaker personally, and refused to take bis seat, whereupon flie Speaker ordered the sergeant-at-arms to take him into custody. The member, a JMc. Ilanxcomb, dtitled him to do so, and significant!}' put his band otl a bowie-knife. The sergeant-at-arms paused, whereupon ! tl'he'Speaker repeated I lie order.
