Kennedy, it was Resolved, That the meeting organise itself into an association for the purpose of estsblishing a Female Institute in the town of Camden, and that thoso present subscribe their names to a roll, stating the amounts they arc willing to give for the purpose, for one year ; each indivi dual guaranteeing patronage to the^ ?chool, for one year, to the amount sub scribed by him. On motion of Rev. A. K. Durham, it was Resotved, That by the words "guar anteeing patronage," in the above resolu tion, it is meant that each subscriber is to aend s scholar or scholars to the amount subscribed by him, or pay the money subscribed. On motion of Gen J. B. Kershaw, Resolved, That a committee of throe be appointed by the chair -to correspond with Professor Reynolds Mid Dr. 8. W.
