Dr. William Koch, of Berlin, claims to have discovered a cure for consumption. It consists of healing up the affected portions of the lungs by injections of iodine, so as to check the progress of festering, which is the origin of the disease. This treatment has been tested in the great hospitals of#tor? lin within a short time, among others Royal Charity, in the preseuce of tha most eminent surgeons. All the reports of the ca ses in which this treatment has been admin istered arc favorable, and hold out a prom ise of a complete cure.
