THE Cincinnati Gazelle makes the aeto
nishing annonncement that Cincinnati
beer is no longer purs, but adulterated with
molasses, sngar of starch, fusel oil and the
poisonous Colchicum. The Commissioner
of Agriculture, in his report for 18G5. says
that Prof. Mapes, of New York, analyzed
tho beer from a dozen different breweries,
