Augusta Ingenuity .?Probably it is not generally known that Augnsta ie about to present to the world one of the most wonderful epeoimenB of au? tomatic work in existence, combining art, science end ingenuity. By tho oonrtesy of the inventor of the work, Mr. E. B. Bleukley, we were enabled, yesterday, to obtain a view of it. It is the representation of a' mocntuiu landsoape in miniature, and presents u view forty-eight feet long and twelve high. Every detail, from the boldest precipices glittering with gliding rivu? lets and rippling cascades, down to the fairy island dotted with tranquil lakes, on the waters of which euil boats aud swans move "as natural as life," is trne to nature. Nearly ia the centre of the scene a locomotive, drawing a train of cars, emerges from a tunnel and sweeps around a carve, the whistle blows and the train stops, loaving the spectator astonished at the natural ef? fect produced. Near by is a conn try grave-yard, end not far off, by the side of a brawling stream, a saw mill, in fall operation, with a water-wheel scat? tering spray upon the foliage beneath. Upon the left of the scene is a hand? some villa, with terraces end serpen? tine walks, over which a boy may be seen propelling a velocipede, while fountains play in different parts of the grounds. A griat mill and coal mine are on the tight, and innumerable Sottos and oaves about the mountain itnesses. The machinery which moves the automatic work is hidden away in the centre of the mountain, and is a combination of hydraulics and electricity. The work is the re? sult of some five years' design and labor on the part of Mr. Bieakley. [Augusta Chronicle and Sentinel. Now Baltimore is to have a tea party1 after the manner of Boston. The lOtb of October will be observed there as a mnnioipal holiday, that being the 100th anniversary of the destruction of the tea and tho burning of the Peg? gy Stewart, at AnnapoliH, just before the Revolution. Tho Sun says that the tot uarning at Annapolis, open and undisguised, eurpaesed tbo Boston tea exploit in every reepect, and should not be forgotten.
