Old Debts.?The rale established in the Eighth Circuit by the late lamented judge James L. Orr, by which the ijuriea gave only half the amoaot of old debts, has been reversed by hiu Honor Judge Cook, and at the last term of the court several vordiots were obtained for the whole amonnt of old debts. We think it is to be regretted that the rule [has been disturbed, as most old debts j lave been settled on the basiB of one lalf. and in many instauoes it will work in injustice to allow the whole of old lebts remaining unpaid to be collected.
