A public meeting of the citizens of Richland County will be held iu the Court House, at Colombia, on the fiist Monday in February, to elect delegates to the State Tux-Payers' Convention, to be hold in Columbia on the 17th of Febrnarv. A New Hampshire lecture committee wrote to Boston to learn what Mrs. Scott-Siddons would read for. The re? ply was: "8300 and expenses; answer, as Mrs. Siddons will Bail for Europe at onoe, if you don't want her." "Let her bail," was the reply.
