Injunction.?The County Treasurer of Abbeville bos been enjoined from pay? ing outfeny moro money from the taxes I oolleoted for school purposes in that Connty. The follow? ing appears to bo the case in brief, as' now presented, viz: Under instructions from State Superintendent Jillson, Treasurer DuPre refused to pay claims for services rendered by teachers during the fisoal year 1871-72, out of funds ool? leoted for the fisoal year 1872-73, where? upon Mr. J. J. Knox brought an action, in the nature of an injunction, against him, when tbe preliminary order was granted. The notion of the County Treasurer in this matter is in, it is euid, entire harmony with the ruling of tho Attorney-General under similar circum? stances. Mr. DuPro has retained coun? sel, and the injunction will, in all proba? bility, be dissolved, aud the affairs per? taining to his office will then move on as smoothly as horetofore.
